Mark the bombs, clear the road, get paid
Years after the collapse, the resistance started pulling bombs out of the ground. You are a new recruit, posted to a town called Alanther, and the job is exactly what the title says: find the bombs, mark them, and make the roads between towns safe to walk again.
What you actually do
Bombseeker takes the logic of Minesweeper and gives it a destination. Tiles reveal how many bombs are adjacent, and you work outward from what you know. But the grid is a stretch of road between two towns, and finishing it means someone can make that trip without dying.
After a six-level tutorial you are turned loose on the routes out of Alanther — eleven fixed levels across two campaigns, heading for Prithe in one direction and Craithe in the other. Each bomb you mark is worth a coin. Finding a safe path through is worth another.
When you have finished the hand-built maps, the randomised ones keep coming, and they keep adding to the same total.
Where it sits in Aldia
Bombseeker is the first game set in Aldia and the one that established the place — the towns, the roads between them, and what happened to everything else. The three games that follow build on the same world.
